Olympus, a global leader in optical and digital products, worked with netTrek to develop the OlyVIA mobile app. This Adobe AIR app for iOS allows users to view and analyze high-resolution microscopic images on mobile devices, making it particularly valuable for demonstrations, training, and research. With the OlyVIA mobile app, users can easily and intuitively review and work with virtual slides at different magnification levels.

Olympus needed a way to make its high-resolution digital microscope images accessible not only on desktop computers, but also on mobile devices. The existing solution was limited to desktop use, which restricted flexibility during training sessions, presentations, and other activities outside the laboratory.
