Students at Ruhr University Bochum needed an effective and motivating platform that would help them strengthen their Financial Accounting knowledge while preparing them for the start of their careers.
Goals and Requirements:
The goal was to develop a user-friendly application available across multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, and the web. The app needed to support the learning process through interactive and engaging features while also providing resources for job applications and opportunities for social engagement.
Solution
Our Approach:
The application was built using the cross-platform Flutter 3.7 framework in combination with Dart 2.18. Its architecture follows Clean Architecture principles, while the Bloc library is used for efficient state management. A customized administration environment built with Angular 14 and NestJS 9 supports the backend.
Agile methods such as KANBAN were used for project management, while tools including Codemagic for CI/CD integration and Figma for prototyping and design supported the development process.
Key Features:
The app includes a user-friendly dashboard, engaging learning quizzes, weekly challenges, a career hub with resources for the application process, and a unique donation feature. Students can use the RUBine points they earn in the app to support charitable causes.
